Artist Description: "I, a young man riding on a train through Europe, spoke to a Japanese man the only words I had memorised in Japanese. In return, he spoke the only words he knew back in English. We were able to converse about being both old and young and experiencing what the world had to offer in our travels. Afterward, he folded an Origami paper crane, telling me it was a sign of peace and friendship between us. Let it remind of of this same spirit in your own home."
